Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, migrating legacy systems, and ensuring seamless data flow across our ecosystem.
• As an Individual Contributor, you will own your projects from conception to execution, translating complex technical discussions into actionable data solutions. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver high-impact data architecture.

Job responsibility

• Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion and Snowflake.
• Data Modeling & Warehousing: Database design, programming, and performance tuning within Snowflake and SQL Server Managed Instance (SQL MI).
• Data Ingestion: Manage and optimize secure data transfer protocols, specifically focusing on SFTP processing and file-based data ingestion.
• Individual Contribution: Take complete ownership of data engineering tasks, write clean/maintainable SQL code, and troubleshoot complex data processing issues independently.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams. Participate in technical discussions, gather requirements, and communicate project timelines and data insights effectively.
• Data Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all integration points and storage layers.

Required skills

• SQL , SQL MI, Snowflake, Matillion , ETL tools & understanding of ETL/SFTP Processing
