Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds
- Operate cutting tools safely and efficiently during pouring and finishing processes
- Maintain strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations by wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), following safety protocols, and reporting hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on commercial construction projects with a strong background in concrete finishing.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, pouring, cutting, finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of construction estimating principles and safety regulations applicable to the construction workplace
- Skilled in using hand tools like trowels, floats, hammers, as well as power tools including and saws.
