Latch is building intelligent, high-performance agents for biological data analysis, empowering over 5,000 scientists across 150 R&D labs to handle data from instrument-to-insights.
We're hiring BioEngineers across three tracks. You'll work as part of a team of software engineers and biologists building datasets that teach AI agents to reason through complex biological data — from raw instrument output to real scientific decisions.
Track 1: Genomics Sequencing QC → alignment & assembly → variant calling & filtering → clinical variant interpretation → population genetics
Track 2: Epigenetics Sequencing QC → alignment & peak calling → chromatin accessibility → TF footprinting & motif analysis → histone modification → single-cell multiome integration → gene regulatory network construction
Track 3: Therapeutics Target identification → functional genomics screens → hit triage & bioactivity → SAR & selectivity → ADMET/DMPK triage → drug response analysis
Requirements
- 5 years hands-on experience in your track's domain
- Proficiency in Python and/or R
Compensation & Logistics
- OTE $120k–$180k, performance-based, commensurate with expertise
