Project Manager - Data Warehouse Implementation (Automotive Marketing Focus)
We are seeking a highly adaptable and results-driven Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new data warehouse supporting dealership-level customer marketing programs in the automotive industry. This role requires a confident leader who can navigate ambiguity and drive clarity and progress in evolving technical and business landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for the data warehouse build, including planning, execution, risk mitigation, and delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, marketers, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Translate ambiguous or incomplete requirements into actionable project plans.
- Define and manage timelines, resources, and ensure scope alignment in cooperation with the account management team.
- Establish clear communication channels and reporting mechanisms for all stakeholders.
- Drive decision-making and remove blockers in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ensure data governance, compliance, and quality practices are established and maintained.
Required Qualifications and Qualities:
- Minimum 2 years Project Management experience implementing a data-driven platform or application.
- Proven ability to work effectively in environments with significant unknowns, evolving requirements, and shifting priorities.
- Previous experience working with data architects.
- Curiosity, a thirst for knowledge, a knack for risk mitigation, and anticipating the needs of the program, the team, and agency leadership.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in automotive, marketing technology, or CRM systems is a strong plus.
- Automotive marketing agency experience is desired, but not required.
- Experience in data warehouse or large-scale data infrastructure projects.
- Above average proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
- Familiarity and comfort working in SmartSheet and SharePoint
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- PMP, Scrum, or other relevant certifications.
