As a Customs Entry Writer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that imported goods are cleared through U.S. Customs quickly and compliantly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Classifying imported goods in accordance with U.S. Customs regulations (HTS).
- Preparing customs entries prior to vessel arrival.
- Processing Importer Security Filings (ISF) accurately and on time.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records for all shipments.
- Resolving freight releases with carriers, warehouses,
- Communicating with customers, team members, CBP, and Other Government Agencies (OGA) regarding shipments and any delays or holds.
- Using Microsoft Office and ASCI systems for efficient entry processing and data management.
