Position: Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Taking impressions and digital intra-oral scans
• Patient photos
• X-rays and CBCT
• Setting up and taking down operatory rooms
• Adjusting and delivering prosthesis
• Ability to make temporary crowns
• Assisting the doctor during a variety of restorative and surgical procedures
• Pre and post op instructions

Requirements:

• Registered Dental Assistant with necessary Certifications
• Task and detail oriented
• Self Starter who works well as as a part of a team
• Patient-centric with good communication skills
• Outgoing and empathetic
• Flexible and a quick learner
• Great organizational skills and high level of office aptitude
• Work with the doctor and do whatever it takes to ensure our patients have an exceptional experience every time
• Previous experience as a dental assistant in a dental office, with specific experience in implant dentistry preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Organized, able to multi-task with patients
• Dental experience required
• Previous experience working as a dental assistant
• Previous experience working as a dental assistant during implant procedures

Standard Day as a Dental Assistant at Lasting Smiles Implant Center

• Chair-side assisting during restorative and surgical procedures
• Assisting in delivery of our product to our patients
• Setting up and turning over rooms
• Sterilization and daily cleaning
• Managing patient expectations and giving excellent patient care to our patients

Compensation:

• The anticipated range for this position is $20 - $35 dollars an hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience, performance, and qualifications.
