Duties
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and personalized service
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage route driving and delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely and safe transportation of merchandise
- Conduct retail merchandising, including product placement and inventory management to optimize sales potential
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices during heavy lifting or automobile transportation tasks
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and route details using organizational tools
Qualifications
- Previous retail store experience or similar customer-facing roles demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, basic math skills, and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving or route driving preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Strong organizational skills for managing schedules, deliveries, and client communication
- Familiarity with automobile transportation, merchandising, and client relationship building is a plus
- Experience in military service or related discipline can be advantageous for discipline and route management skills
