Day Shift: 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday

Direct Support Professional

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Building Relationships: Spend quality time with our residents, getting to know them and their unique stories.
- Personal Care: Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming – always with dignity and respect
- Supportive Presence: Be there for emotional support, whether it’s sharing a laugh or offering a comforting hug.
- Encouraging Independence: Help residents with their goals, big or small, and celebrate their achievements. This includes daily living activities such as personal care, household chores, and cooking.
- Creating Joy: Plan and participate in fun activities that bring joy and excitement to our home.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of services provided to ensure all team members are up to date on care given.

Minimum Requirements:
- A heart full of compassion and kindness
- A desire to make a difference
- Must be 18 years of age or older, have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to successfully pass a background check, and have a driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance. This position requires the transportation of clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in direct care, healthcare, or a related field is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of others
- Level One Med Aid
- Adult CPR/First Aid
