Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Manage delivery schedules effectively, ensuring timely arrivals and departures at each stop.
- Engage with customers professionally, providing friendly service, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging strong communication skills to enhance sales.
- Organize and load merchandise efficiently, utilizing merchandising techniques to present products attractively.
- Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks safely during loading and unloading processes.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, route logs, and documentation for each trip.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent driving certification with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, route driving, or delivery services preferred.
- Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and basic inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries.
- Organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and paperwork accurately.
- Prior military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and reliability in high-pressure situations.
