Speech Language Pathologist- Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting students' communication development by collaborating with educators, families, students, and other professionals to help children achieve their full potential. Responsibilities include evaluating speech and language needs, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering direct therapeutic services in a positive, collaborative school environment.
- Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and small groups settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, counselors, and families to support students’ communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and stay current with best practices in speech-language services in schools.
Speech Language Pathologist- Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology Required
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential Required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Required
- Minimum of 1 year working in a school setting Strongly Preferred
Job Type: Full time, exempt
Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:15 pm
Number of Hours: 40 hours/week
Salary: $85,000-$105,000/year
Number of working days a year: 200
Location: Woodland Hills Campus: 5975 Shoup Ave, Woodland Hills, CA 91367
Based in Woodland Hills, this position requires occasional travel to City Campus (3186 7th Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90018) 1x a week. This is subject to change based on case load.
