Web Application Developer/Architect

Description: Your primary focus will be web front-end development for our flagship Total Vu software, serving commercial B2B customers in medical, aerospace, wire and cable, automotive, metrology, and other industrial markets. Total Vu software is the platform through which our customers access and control the precision measurement devices we offer. Total Vu software is a strategic advantage for LaserLinc, and your work will help ensure it remains that way.
Join our talented and experienced team, where you will have a mix of individual and team projects. You will be involved in all phases of development: planning, design, implementation, and testing. Primarily using Angular/TypeScript on Windows and Linux platforms, with potential Android and iOS platforms in the future.
Ideal Skills and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience (4 years)
- Web development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, or Vue frameworks
- Experience with object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, Python, C , C#)
- High-bandwidth, high-performance data processing
- Network sockets programming is a plus, as is familiarity with microservices and technologies such as REST and SQL
- Familiarity with AWS and CI/CD is a plus
- Willingness to fully participate in technical discussions and other group meetings
- Good self-management skills and the ability to work independently
