Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PC, hardware and network issues, analyze their impact, and recommend solutions for resolving and preventing issues in the future. Install/troubleshoot computer-related devices (video, sound, printer, scanner, camera, etc.)
• Removal of viruses, spyware and adware on infected systems.
• Installing and configuring hardware, applications, and operating system software/upgrades.
• Provide phone assistance for customers experiencing connectivity or email issues. Identifying problems and guiding customers through corrective steps.
• Data entry of support calls, service orders and work orders.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Network Technicians analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
• Candidates require significant PC knowledge with a strong understanding of Windows operating systems and networking. Must be computer savvy with the ability to learn quickly, have good decision making and problem-solving skills and the ability to work through problems.
• Candidate should be well versed in resolving common computer problems including viruses, slow performance, errors, Internet/e-mail client set-up, computer-related devices and peripheral issues. Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and work flexible hours.
• Candidate must have good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers & clients who may not be technically inclined or understand the technology. Good telephone etiquette is required. A candidate may find that if they do not possess this attribute, they may not feel comfortable in this position.
• Position requires candidates to be timely, neat in appearance and of high integrity.

Minimum qualifications to be considered are:

• Must have experience working onsite at clients locations.
• High School Diploma/Technical Certifications a plus.
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
• Broad understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
• Proficient with Windows 10, Windows 11 and Server operating systems.
• Must be able to assemble and repair computers from scratch.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and orally.
• Must clear criminal background check and a drug screen.
• Ability to work outside.
• Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds and work off of ladders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
