Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for an HP Printer Technician located in Traverse City, MI. The HP Printer Technician will be responsible for providing printer support and technical support for various types of HP printers and desktop computers. The role includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring optimal printer performance. The technician will also be required to manage inventory of printer supplies and parts, as well as assist customers with technical queries and setup.
Duties
- Operate various types of printing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on printing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to printers and associated systems.
- Collaborate with field service teams and OEM representatives to resolve complex issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, maintenance activities, and service logs.
- Utilize hand tools for repairs and adjustments as needed.
- Provide support in computer networking tasks related to printer connectivity.
Experience
- Proficiency in Printer Support, Printers, and Desktop Computers
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with HP printers and related technologies is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
