Position Summary
We are seeking motivated and results-driven Sales Representatives to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital equipment, industrial equipment, or technical sales and possess a strong hunter mentality with the ability to proactively generate new business opportunities.
This role is ideal for individuals who know how to build relationships, develop pipelines, and close deals rather than simply relying on inbound leads. Candidates should be comfortable managing long sales cycles and selling high-value technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, trade shows, and outbound prospecting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial, industrial, aerospace, automotive, defense, manufacturing, and government customers
- Generate and manage a consistent sales pipeline
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and customer meetings
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate laser equipment solutions
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales presentations
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while maximizing profitability
- Manage long sales cycles and maintain regular customer follow-up
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting, and reporting
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of B2B sales experience preferred
- Experience in capital equipment, industrial equipment, manufacturing technology, or technical sales strongly preferred
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to proactively find and develop new clients
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and competitive mindset
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- CRM and Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling industrial laser systems or manufacturing technology
- Existing relationships within industrial, defense, aerospace, or government sectors
- Technical aptitude and ability to understand complex equipment solutions
