What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser Technician Needed (Part-Time / On-Call) – Miami Edgewater position at LASER AND SKIN MEDICAL?
We’re looking for an experienced Laser Technician to join our growing clinic in Edgewater, Miami. This is a part-time, on-call position with increasing demand on Wednesdays and Thursdays, offering strong earning potential and room to grow into a more consistent schedule.
Compensation
- 20% commission on services
- Additional commission on packages and memberships sold
- Weekly earning floor for Wed & Thurs schedule
- Opportunity to increase earnings as bookings grow
Responsibilities
- Perform laser hair removal treatments safely and effectively
- Customize treatments based on client needs and goals
- Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care
- Recommend and sell treatment packages or memberships
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms
- Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained
- Assist with scheduling, charting, and client management (Vagaro or similar)
Requirements
- Active Florida Laser/Electrologist license (clean record)
- Experience with Candela machines preferred
- Experience recommending and selling packages and/or memberships
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
- Bilingual is a plus ( Spanish English preferably)
Schedule
- On-call to start
- Primary need: Wednesdays & Thursdays
- Additional days available as backup coverage
