Overview
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with insurance defense litigation, including but not limited to automobile negligence, premises liability, and medical malpractice.
Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents including initial pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
- Prepare for and participate in litigation proceedings as necessary, including hearings, depositions, facilitation, and court conferences.
- Review and summation of medical records, discovery responses, and transcripts.
- Trial preparation support as needed.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Strong ability to advocate effectively for clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
