Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicle transmissions, ensuring optimal performance.
- Disassemble and reassemble transmission and trans components.
- Conduct diagnostic tests using proper equipment to identify issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex transmission problems.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop environment.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with automotive testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair transmission systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Relevant certifications in automotive technology or a related field are a plus
