About the Role
LaScala Restaurant Group is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support accounting and reporting
functions across our multi-entity restaurant and hospitality operations. This role partners closely with
management and the accounting team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is
organized, detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple
entities and locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly close and financial reporting processes
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain balance sheet schedules
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Process accruals, prepaids, and general ledger activity
- Review transactions for coding accuracy and consistency
- Contribute to store-level financial reporting and analysis
- Provide cash, payroll, and operational accounting support as needed
- Collaborate with operations and management teams across multiple locations
- Support ongoing accounting and reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of accounting experience
- Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or other multi-unit experience a plus
- Strong Excel skills required
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, hands-on, and team-oriented approach
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $80,000–$95,000, commensurate with experience
