Responsibilities:
LaSante Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support providers in addressing prenatal patients' healthcare needs. The chosen candidate will act as a crucial member of the care team, delivering safe, quality patient care and services, including patient education and assisting with hands-on treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, assist physician/provider in setting up for procedures and exams
- Collect and document patient history, vital signs, and relevant information promptly.
- Provide education to patients
- Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatment.
- Disinfect and sterilize instruments, equipment, and reusable supplies.
- Maintain inventory of supplies in exam rooms and designated areas as directed by Nurse Manager (e.g., immunizations).
- Inform supervisor of any issues hindering quality care delivery.
- Assist in addition tasks as directed by supervisor
- Prenatal experience.
- Current Registered Nurse license in New York.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and staff.
- Happy, welcoming, team player.
