Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nutritionist based in Brooklyn, NY. The Nutritionist will provide nutritional counseling and education to patients, focusing on weight management and overall wellness. Daily responsibilities include assessing individual dietary needs, creating personalized meal plans, and educating patients on food choices to support their long-term health. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare providers to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Dietetics and Nutrition
- Experience in Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management
- Proficient in Nutrition Education and creating personalized meal plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse patient population
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential preferred
- Knowledge of community-specific health challenges is a plus
