What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at LaSalle Nursing Home?
$24 base rate
$0.70 shift differential (2pm-10pm)
$1.00 shift differential (10pm-6:30am)
Night Shift 6:00pm-6:30am
Must be licensed within the state of Louisiana by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and have a clear background check. Must be able to pass physical, back x-ray and drug screen.
Must report to work on time.
Complete all documentation daily.
Assist with personal care and treatments.
Review medical records and ensure all physician orders are carried thru as ordered.
Give medications and treatments as ordered and complete MAR and TAR as services are rendered.
Make frequent rounds on your unit/hall and assist CNAs when needed.
Discuss any problems or concerns with unit manager and/or DON.
Order and re-order medications as needed.
Maintain a clean working environment including nurse's station, med cart, med room, etc.
Perform any other duties assigned by the unit manager or DON.
Follow rules and regulations on the nursing home.
