Senior Accountant Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure accuracy of all general ledger activity
- Reconcile accounts, research variances and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Support the month-end and year-end close process
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Partner cross-functionally to provide financial insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA a plus
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a services industry
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to commute to Lake Zurich on a hybrid schedule
