Job Summary
LaSalle Elementary and Early Learning Center is a dedicated and nurturing child care center committed to providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. Position Overview:
As an On Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children in our care. You will work closely with a team of educators to create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn, play, and grow. You will support in classrooms as needed and sub in the center where needed. You will assist in administrative duties, and will work closely with the director.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for children in a group setting.
- Assist in administrative duties
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Assist with meal times, nap routines, and other daily activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in child care or a related field (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education coursework or degree is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and energetic attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction.
