What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Technician position at Las Vegas Pool Care?
Overview
We are seeking a RELIABLE and COURTEOUS person.
POOL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
You don't have to be an expert, but you need to be familiar with pool equipment.
Responsibilities
- Test and balance pool water using appropriate chemicals.
- Clean and vacuum pools, brush walls, and tiles.
- Visually inspect pool equipment for leaks and noises.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
- Transport and safely handle pool chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Proficient using Apps (we use Pay the Poolman App)
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
- Reliable vehicle: since you are an independent contractor, you will be using your own vehicle.
This is an independent contractor position, so no taxes are deducted from your weekly pay.
Compensation
- You will be paid $14 per pool and will service approximately 13-15 pools per day, 5 days per week, Monday-Friday (approx 70 pools).
- Servicing 2 pools per hour equates to $28/hr.
- Daily route is pretty tight, approx 1-3 miles between houses.

You are responsible for
- Providing your own vehicle, gas, and equipment: pole, net, brush, weighted vacuum head, and vacuum hose (we can payroll deduct the equipment if requested).
