Position Summary
The Driving Range Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the driving range and practice facilities at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. This position supports daily golf operations by ensuring practice areas are properly maintained, golf balls are stocked and collected, and all range equipment is functional and guest ready.
Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort features 54 championship golf holes and two all-grass practice facilities, requiring strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining premium golf conditions. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all driving range and practice facility areas.
- Collect, clean, sort, and restock golf balls throughout the day.
- Operate range equipment, including golf ball pickers and washers, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure practice stations, hitting areas, and surrounding grounds are clean, stocked, and presentable.
- Monitor range supplies and notify leadership of inventory or maintenance needs.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the driving range and practice facilities.
- Support daily golf operations and assist other Golf Operations team members as needed.
- Maintain awareness of guest safety and ensure all operational procedures are followed.
- Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or guest concerns to leadership promptly.
- Assist with tournament and event setup as assigned.
- Perform additional duties and operational support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous golf course, hospitality, outdoor operations, or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to operate small utility equipment safely and responsibly.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, wind, and sun exposure.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to safely operate golf range maintenance equipment and utility vehicles.
Work Environment:
This position primarily works outdoors at the golf resort driving range and practice facilities. Team Members are expected to maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive guest experience while supporting the overall operations of Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.
