Job Summary And Qualifications
As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence
- Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly
- Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination
- Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques
- Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
- Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
