Gardener / Landscaping AssistantOverview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Gardener / Landscaping Assistant to join our team and assist our Landscaping Lead with the daily care and maintenance of our properties.
The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping and be comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work. This position will work closely with the Landscaping Lead to ensure that lawns, plants, gardens, and outdoor areas are properly maintained.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Landscaping Lead with daily gardening and landscaping tasks.
- Mow lawns and maintain grass and other landscaped areas.
- Trim and prune bushes, plants, and trees as needed.
- Remove weeds and maintain flower beds and garden areas.
- Water and care for plants, trees, and other vegetation.
- Collect and remove leaves, branches, and other debris.
- Assist with planting, mulching, and other landscaping projects.
- Use landscaping tools and equipment safely and properly.
- Keep landscaping tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow instructions from the Landscaping Lead and assist with other outdoor tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance of the properties.
Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Familiarity with common landscaping tools and equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently when needed.
- English and Spanish communication skills are preferred.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch break provided
