- Caseload: 75
- No. Of working hours per week: 4 days a week at 9 hours/day
- Start date & End date of the position: Oct 1 through June 1
- Any specific credentials needed for the position: Secondary science teaching credentials
Duties
- Design and deliver innovative science lessons that align with curriculum standards and incorporate educational technology tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology platforms
- Implement differentiated instruction strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including students with autism or special education needs
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to ensure effective curriculum implementation and instructional modifications for varied student needs
- Assess student performance through standardized testing, formative assessments, and performance data analysis to inform instruction and support academic growth
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management, childhood development techniques, and engaging hands-on activities
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and achievement through conferences, reports, and digital communication channels
- Collaborate with fellow educators on lesson planning, curriculum development, and integrating educational technology to enhance learning experiences
