Minimum requirements:
- The candidate must already have expertise in preparation of exam rooms, patients, instruments and materials. Furthermore, the candidate must already possess knowledge and the ability to use sterilizing equipment and instruments. Additionally, the candidate must already have expertise in completing routine patient records and performing clerical duties.
- Candidate must already be a certified dental assistant and have at least 2 years experience as a dental assistant.
- Candidate must already have prior experience as a certified dental assistant.
- Candidate must already have a high school degree or equivalent.
- Candidate must be proficient in English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Candidate must be an excellent communicator and compassionate about patient care.
- Candidate must already possess expertise in Dental Software and digital x-ray software.
- Candidate must already possess expertise in insurance and billing procedures/codes.
- Candidate must already have expertise in answering phone calls and scheduling.
- Candidate must have excellent computer skills.
- Candidate must have prior knowledge and experience in providing chairside support.
- Candidate must already have knowledge of dental instruments and methods used for sterilization.
- Candidate must already have knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and procedures.
- Candidate must already have knowledge and experience in ordering dental supplies in accordance with the office budget.
- Candidate must already have knowledge of general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, and implant dentistry.
- Candidate must be punctual, neat, and respectful of patients and coworkers.
