Server / Waitstaff (Part-Time)
Las Maracas Mexican Restaurant – 27 Louisiana St, Westwego, LA
Las Maracas is looking for a part-time server to join our friendly, fast-paced team! If you’re attentive, punctual, and enjoy creating great dining experiences, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and seat guests with a welcoming attitude
- Take orders accurately and present menu recommendations
- Handle dine-in and takeout orders (including phone orders)
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently and safely
- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly
- Roll silverware and keep the dining area tidy
- Complete all side work and cleaning duties for your shift
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, professional, and reliable team members
- Ability to multitask and follow instructions
- Strong communication skills (English required)
- A well-groomed, professional appearance
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be courteous and customer-focused at all times
- Must have or be able to obtain a Louisiana Responsible Vendor Card
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a server, waitress, or waiter is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!
