The Las Lomitas Elementary School District (LLESD) is comprised of two award-winning schools in Atherton and Menlo Park, California. Thriving in the community surrounded by Stanford University and many of Silicon Valley’s world-renowned corporations, entrepreneurs, and scientists, Las Lomitas Elementary (K-3rd grade) and La Entrada Middle (4th-8th grades) consistently rank among the top in the state.
Requirements / Qualifications
*Valid California Teaching Credential or Emergency 30-day Substitute Permit required. If teaching for the first time in San Mateo County, a Certificate of Clearance will also be required. Applicants who do not hold a credential may obtain a 30-day substitute teaching permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. This license requires at least a Bachelor's Degree, passage of the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) or equivalent, and fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice. A complete application packet includes: *On-line Edjoin Application *Current Resume *Two (2) Letters of Recommendation, one from current or most recent supervisor. •Copy of CTC's on-line document which shows valid active credential or provide information for us to view your document on CTC's website. Credentialed teachers preferred.
Candidates selected will be required to clear DOJ background check and provide proof of negative TB results. Cost of background check and rolling fee are incurred by the applicant.
