Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

Position Summary:
Socorro Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight during weekend operations. This role is essential to ensuring continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and staff support when administrative leadership is not onsite.
Schedule:
- Weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)
- Shift details discussed during interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs
- Oversee daily nursing operations during weekend shifts
- Ensure safe, high-quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
- Act as the clinical decision-maker and point of contact during weekends
- Monitor resident condition changes and communicate with providers as needed
- Support medication management, documentation accuracy, and infection control practices
- Address staffing needs, call-offs, and operational issues in real time
- Participate in incident follow-up and ensure timely reporting and documentation
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and accountability across shifts
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico (required)
- Prior supervisory, charge nurse, or weekend supervisor experience preferred
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
