Overview
Las Cruces Village Nursing and Rehab is seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurses to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, assisting in the delivery of medical care while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and injections as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with IV insertion and management, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient conditions.
- Experience administering injections and managing IVs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
