An FBI fingerprint background check will be conducted on all new hires of the Las Cruces Public Schools at a cost to the employee. Continued employment will be contingent upon the results of the background check.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in education from a regionally accredited college or university
- Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Teaching License
- Endorsement by the State Department of Education
- Recommendations from degree-granting institution and/or previous employing
