Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional learning.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence for infants and toddlers.
- Manage daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities with patience and professionalism.
- Apply behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and emotional regulation among young children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum that integrates educational philosophies suited for early learners.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
- Maintain accurate records of classroom activities
Minimum Requirements:
-12 ECE units of Early Childhood Education:
1. Child Devlopment
2.Child Development Community and Family
3. Preschool Curriculum or Principles and Practices
4. Any other E.C.E core units
In addition, 3 units of any Infant/Toddler course
-Larson's Infant Center is required to run a criminal background check- post job offer
