We're currently partnered with a leading professional liability insurer of hospitals on the West Coast who is looking to add a Claims & Litigation Specialist. This is a Sr. Level role within their Professional Liability Claims team, focused on managing a diverse portfolio of liability claims in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a complex caseload involving medical, professional, general, premises, employment practices, and D&O liability claims.
- Maintain compliance with litigation management guidelines and claims procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience handling liability claims, with a strong focus on hospital and physician medical professional liability.
- Experience with birth injury claims and employment practices liability preferred.
- AIC designation required; CPHRM or similar risk management certification preferred (or to be completed within 18 months).
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
