Payroll Specialist
Location: Moab, UT
Full-time: 40 hrs/week
Larson & Company is a full-service CPA firm with three offices in Utah, offering a family-friendly environment specializing in tax, accounting, and audit services. We are currently seeking a payroll specialist in our Moab office to support our growing practice. This is a good career opportunity for someone with payroll and accounting service experience. We are looking for someone who wants to stay a while and grow with the company. It is a full-time, in person position. Monday – Friday generally 8am to 5pm.
Job Responsibilities
· Preparing and issuing client payroll checks, direct deposits and reports
· Preparing and submitting quarterly payroll tax reports
· Handling IRS and state tax payroll notices and payments
· Working with multiple clients on other payroll related issues on a regular basis
· Set up payroll accounts with tax agencies and within the payroll software
· Regular communication with multiple clients to collect payroll information
· Reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy across earnings, deductions and taxes
Technical Requirements
· Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Experience preparing and submitting payroll checks and payroll tax reports
· QuickBooks Online experience preferred, but not required

Educational Requirements
· Associate’s degree (preferred, but not required)
Compensation
· $20-23/hour depending on experience
