Summary
We’re hiring part-time private event staff at Johnny's. We are looking for weekday day time availability - approximately 7am-3pm. Actual shift times and hours will vary based on events scheduled. Pay is $16.00/hour; tips are possible but not guaranteed.
Our banquet staff is responsible for serving guests at the events as well as setting up and tearing down events. Your ability to provide hospitality to our guests is key. We seek people who aspire to learn more, better their skills and are eager to work in a professional environment. Flexibility in a fast-paced environment is a key component of this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and ensure an enjoyable, quality event experience.
- Ensure expedient service of food and beverage to the guest, check frequently to ensure everything is to the guests’ specifications.
- Basic knowledge of food and bar items, with the ability to adapt to frequent menu changes.
- Working knowledge of Aloha POS system.
- Pre-bus tables and perform cleaning duties.
- Dress according to the property’s uniform standards.
- Lift/carry equipment up to 40 pounds during set up and tear down of events.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred.
