Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Private Event Manager to join our experienced and professional management team. This person is responsible for managing private event operations, including hiring and developing staff, delivering exceptional guest service, increasing sales, and ensuring department profitability. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits, paid time off, meal discounts and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Address guest questions, complaints, and requests courteously and promptly.
- Interview, train, and develop private event staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup crew.
- Schedule private event staff to meet event needs.
- Ensure staff maintain proper grooming and uniforms.
- Oversee proper function room setup per BEO guidelines.
- Assist with event setup and service as needed.
- Process event billing in Aloha/Innfusion, coordinating with sales for accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of private event spaces and supplies.
- When acting as manager on duty, oversee all restaurant operations.
- Attend mandatory manager and function meetings.
- Must be available for various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1-3 years of previous leadership experience; hospitality industry is preferred
- 1-3 years of hospitality experience
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be proficient in basic office equipment, property related IT systems and supplies, and Microsoft Office applications
