Summary
We’re hiring housekeepers! Shifts will be primarily weekends. We currently offer a $3 Weekend Shift Differential to all of our employees. We have flexible scheduling, PTO for employees working 25 hours/wk after 90 days, and world-wide employee travel discounts!
Our housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and preparing guest hotel rooms, and may also clean public areas such as front desk or public bathrooms. They also provide exceptional customer service and promptly respond to guests’ questions, complaints and requests.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and prepares guest hotel rooms for occupancy through proper application of housekeeping standards.
- Stocks and maintains carts with specific products in required quantities to clean assigned rooms.
- Completes assigned daily reports, correctly identifies and reports the status of each room, and reports any maintenance problem or product shortage.
- Maintains security for guests and property by keeping room doors locked at all times; reporting any suspicious activity by guests or others; properly labeling lost and found articles and turning them in; observing all other security and safety regulations.
- May have shared responsibility for running the dishwasher, and washing/wrapping room glasses and mugs, for those properties that pertain.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to include but not limited to: vacuuming corridors, cleaning public or employee restrooms, washing windows, working in laundry, checking rooms, or training of other employees as well as deep cleaning tasks assigned.
- May be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
- Must be able to complete assigned tasks within a time frame allotted for each room type.
- Ability to independently follow essential physical functions.
Qualifications
- Capable of successful completion of online and hands-on training certifications.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift a maximum of 50 pounds and push a cart that is 75 pounds.
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hotel experience preferred.
