Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Coordinator to join our team on the 2nd shift. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards to promote a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and workplace audits to identify risks and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed report writing to prevent recurrence of safety issues.
- Provide training & development sessions on safety regulations, hazardous materials handling, emergency response procedures (including CPR and first aid), and environmental management systems.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health regulations related to hazardous materials regulations, occupational health standards, and environmental regulatory compliance.
- Manage workers' compensation law procedures by coordinating claims processes and supporting employee health initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training sessions, and regulatory documentation for audits and continuous improvement efforts.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices and environmental management systems.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, hazardous materials regulations, EPA standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and report writing for safety incidents or environmental issues.
- Prior experience in training & development related to occupational health or environmental health topics is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training is preferred.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law procedures and legal compliance standards in production settings will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while maintaining a focus on regulatory/legal compliance standards.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
