CDL Driver/ Forklift

Summary: Experienced in Driving/Shipping/Receiving for local pick-ups and long hauls. Ability to prioritize/manage workload of the warehouse and address an immediate requests for all business units. Ability to meet and keep deadlines provided. 1st Shift with minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime available when needed. Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up and/or deliver loads as required

• Load and Unload trucks as needed

• Confirm documents match loads

• Safety minded and courteous driving

• Maintain proper documents and log books as needed per vehicle

• Communicate with department manager on status of work.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills and Abilities Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years of CDL – Class A Driving

• Must have a valid drivers license/CDL Class A

• Certified and experienced in operating a Forklift

• Experience working in Manufacturing industry

• Good written & verbal skills in English; Spanish Bilingual is a plus

• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary

• Experience operating a forklift

• Fork Lift Certified

• Strong oral and written communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

• Must be able to work as a team member and not an individual

• Dependable and punctual.
