Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients by understanding their unique insurance needs and providing personalized solutions.
- Negotiate policy terms, coverage options, and premiums with insurance providers to secure the best possible deals for clients.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing quotes, policy renewals, endorsements, and maintaining accurate client records.
- Analyze client data and market trends to identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional insurance products.
- Provide comprehensive customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and offering ongoing support.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that promote our insurance services across various channels.
- Utilize analysis skills to evaluate risk factors and tailor policies that align with client needs while maintaining profitability for the company.
Qualifications
- Minnesota Property & Casualty License.
- 2 years in the commercial lines insurance field.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing client needs and market opportunities.
- Experience in sales administration tasks such as quoting, policy management, and documentation.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to insurance products is a plus.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to client engagement and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently in a sales environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
