We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspensions, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on construction machinery, farm equipment, tractor-trailers, and other heavy equipment following OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues through electrical diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and welding to restore functionality efficiently.
- Replace or repair components such as brakes, transmissions, tires, air brakes, HVAC systems, and suspension parts with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Fabricate parts or modifications as needed for equipment repair or customization while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document repairs accurately for future reference.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards while providing excellent customer service to clients or internal teams.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy equipment mechanics and construction machinery servicing.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and repair techniques including schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, HVAC systems, hydraulics, suspension systems, and tire service.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as , forklifts, and other construction machinery safely and effectively.
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand tools along with power tools for various repair tasks.
- Familiarity with OEM specifications and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues across diverse machinery types.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service technician responsibilities.

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
