Overview
As the Owner of a dynamic construction business, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of operations, from project management to client relations. Your extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in various construction disciplines will be essential in driving the company’s success. You will lead a skilled team, ensuring high-quality work while maintaining safety and efficiency on all job sites.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and project management to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage budgeting and financial planning for projects, including construction estimating.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all phases of construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Utilize skills in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction site experience to guide project execution.
- Coordinate with various trades including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, and roofing.
- Provide leadership in the use of hand tools and power tools for various tasks such as concrete forming, plastering, and restoration.
- Implement effective strategies for remodeling projects, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and development of team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam for project documentation and collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation and various construction techniques including welding, hardscape, caulking, trim carpentry, door hanging, concrete finishing, glass installation, and stucco application.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- A commitment to safety standards and best practices within the construction industry.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure project specifications are met.
