Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing tire services, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure customer vehicles are safe and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. This position offers hands-on work with a variety of automotive systems and tools, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs using appropriate tools and procedures
- Assist with wheel alignments and basic vehicle diagnostics
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance tasks
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and communicate findings to service advisors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed to support the service department’s operations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Experience
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Prior mechanic or service technician experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience with oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance tasks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tire rotations or other maintenance tasks

Pay: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour
