Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Professional role based at Larry H Miller Volkswagen in Tucson, AZ. The Sales Professional is responsible for engaging customers in the showroom, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable vehicle options and features. Daily activities include conducting product demonstrations and test drives, presenting pricing and financing options, preparing purchase documentation, and following up with prospective and existing customers. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge on current models, promotions, and inventory, collaborating with finance and service teams, and using CRM tools to track leads and sales. The Sales Professional is expected to uphold dealership standards, provide a positive customer experience, and work toward individual and team sales goals.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Sales skills including prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing, ideally in automotive or retail environments.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including clear presentation of vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.
• Basic computer and CRM proficiency, with the ability to manage leads, update records, and use dealership systems efficiently.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of or interest in automotive products and features; willingness to learn Volkswagen-specific models and technology.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct, with a focus on delivering a respectful, inclusive customer experience.
• Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed, and to stand, walk, and accompany customers on test drives.
• Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or a related field is beneficial.
