Who Are You?
You are a hands-on problem solver with basic skills in general maintenance, repair, and upkeep. You’re the kind of person who sees a broken fixture and is already thinking through the fix. You enjoy working both independently and on a team, and you take pride in creating a safe, functional, and clean environment for others.
A Day in the Life:

Respond to routine service requests in areas like plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and general building upkeep

Assist with preventive maintenance to help ensure long-term functionality and safety

Set up and move furniture or equipment as needed for resident support or community events

Communicate respectfully and professionally with residents while working in their homes or shared spaces

Collaborate with teammates and vendors when larger repairs or projects arise
-
Maintain cleanliness and safety of workspaces, tools, and materials

Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
-
Minimum of 6 months general maintenance or trade experience

Valid Kansas driver’s license and clean driving record
-
Basic knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and HVAC
-
Familiarity with safe tool usage and general repair methods
-
Good communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor
