Schedule

• Position: Part-Time

• Days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

• Available Shifts:

  • 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM

• Weekend Availability Required

Candidates must be available to work the designated Saturday through Tuesday schedule.

A Day in the Life

As a Dishwasher, you'll help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and operating efficiently so our Dining Services team can focus on providing exceptional meals and service to our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment

• Hand-wash pots, pans, and other items that require special cleaning

• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dishwashing and storage areas

• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures

• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, floors, and work areas

• Collect and dispose of trash and kitchen waste throughout the shift

• Assist with routine and end-of-shift cleaning to ensure the kitchen is prepared for the next service

• Communicate equipment issues, supply needs, and safety concerns to Dining Services leadership

• Work collaboratively with cooks, servers, and other team members to support smooth dining operations

• Perform additional kitchen support duties as needed

What You'll Bring

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous dishwashing, kitchen, or food service experience is a plus, but not required

• Ability to follow instructions, maintain sanitation standards, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and food safety

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry kitchen supplies, and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Dependable attendance and availability to work the designated schedule, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Must meet applicable vaccination and TB screening requirements
