This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, entering accounting and operational data, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of our logistics operation. Responsibilities
- Accurately enter financial and operational data into accounting and transportation management systems.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare invoices and assist with customer billing.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
- Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment records for accuracy.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members regarding billing or payment inquiries.
- Support office administration and special accounting projects as assigned.
- Trucking, transportation, or logistics industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent data entry accuracy and time management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
